That's correct. Also, you are limited to two receivers with the dome antenna.

Ok the Av switch is now on and still not getting the receiver on any tv. Any other suggestions?

Open up the compartment in the AV cabinet to the left of the receivers. There is a finger pull at the top and you have to pull pretty hard to get it open. Look at the bottom for two black boxes which are the HDMI splitters. Make sure they are getting power and lit up. The will look similar to below.

i think i have it figured out now i just spoke to the original owner and i was told that she had a problem and her dvd player stopped working and her brother fixed and he asked her if she ever used the satellite and she told him no. i see an hdmi spliter that has nothing plugged into and another one right on top of it so it seems to me like he changed the hdmi spliter and did not plug in the satellite cables so most likely i should be fine now but this raised one more question. the little fan on the removable panel was not working i asked her about the av switch and she had no idea what i was talking about. if im correct the switch turns on the hdmi spliters also while turning on the fan to keep it cool she most likely just left it on for ever which burnt out the fan and then burnt the hdmi spliter. and now the av switch does absolutely nothing the hdmi spliter just always has power. before i just try to wire the switch to what i beleive is correct please just confirm. the av switch turns on the power to the hdmi spliter and what ever that other box is as well as turns on the fan. when not using it shut off av switch which turns off the fan and turns off the power to the 2 boxes in that cabinet?

You are correct. The switch turns on the splitters and the fan. Since you have a 2017, the splitters should say 1x4 on top. IF so, they are wired directly to the house 12v power. The old style 1x8 splitters had 120v converters to power the splitters. You can probably get away without a fan, but replacing it is your best bet. It may be okay, just not wired since there were changes. The new 1x4 splitters do not generate as much heat as the 1x8s did. The old style were problematic with overheating and burning up power supplies. The two splitters are one for the satellite receiver and the other for the BluRay Player.

After attempting to get the RoadTrip antenna/TV setup to work on my new-to-me '16 Phaeton 40QBH, gave up and installed Winegard Traveler/Hopper3/Joeys. Can watch all 4 TVs at same time/record up to 16 channels at same time (who could do this?). Removed all OEM antennas, coach was set up for Traveler already, easy quick install. If you keep DTV--seems I hear more complaints with that supplier than about Dish. Wish you luck.
Also, had no interest in in-motion use.

Have had 3 on at once on different channels, never tried to have 4 on at same time. Not an expert by any measure--we have the 4 TVs, 1 Hopper3, 2 Joeys and the Traveler Hybrid antenna. That is the extent of the equipment. If it can record on 16 different channels at same time, surely it would be able to have 4 TVs on different channels at same time? Got tired of the Carryout and its limitations--now I only have to use a sat app to make sure I can see 110/119/129 sats at same time thru any openings in trees/hills nearby.

Each TV has to have its own receiver. As posted, with a Trav'ler antenna you can have several receivers. Since you are on DirecTV I will yield to the experts on that provider since I have Dish. With the RoadTrip dome antenna you are limited to two receivers. Another benefit to the Trav'ler with DirecTV you can receive HD programming which at this time you can not with the dome. I have two Wallies with hard drives on Dish and with a Trav'ler I can watch two different channels and record two others at the same time. I can't see more than two TVs at any one time so two receivers is plenty for me.

As mentioned above, not an expert. However, I only have the one Hopper3 receiver, with 4 TVs. Is this possible? Did the installer hide the other 3 receivers in my cookie jar?

The way Tiffin wires the TVs you can receive the same satellite signal on all four TVs at one time. Also you can currently watch BluRay disc or OTA television on any TV as well as the satellite receiver at the same time. You can install additional Joey receivers they but would have to be physically connected to each TV. An alternative that I did is hook a second Wally to the BluRay player splitter with a HDMI A/B switch. That way I can watch the second receiver by selecting the BluRay/DVD input on any TV.
