After almost 60,000 miles suddenly there is a lot of annoying popping and squeaking seemingly coming from the drivers side dash area. Specifically around the dash defrost vent. Have checked everything that I can think of to tighten (bolts under hood that connect dash to front cap, every screw I can locate on the dash itself, etc.).
I know it's a long shot but any ideas? What am I missing?

If it’s a really loud pop / squeak, look at the welds on the angled “L” brace shown in the picture…….. on both sides. It’s easy to get to when you open the “hood”.
