2018 37PA Bedroom TV

Is the bedroom tv a smart tv and does it have built in Wifi, in the 2018 37PA?
Also, can you mirror whatever is playing in the Main TV to the bedroom?

Yes on smart tv with wifi and can be mirrored depending how you do it. I have firestick and Apple TV and can mirror that way from tv to tv or iPhone or iPad to one or all four tvs.

Bedroom TV

The wiring in my 2018 34PA baffles me. It seems that all 4 TVs can connect to the Blue-ray player, or run as separate TVs each connecting independently to the over-the-air antenna. I haven't even tried the satellite as yet.

Being LG TV's I tried, without success, to connect my Ipad and cell phones to the TVs using the LG app.

I have a direct wire connect cable for my Ipad to an HDMI input that I expect to work. Apple limits its capabilities in what it can mirror. It works on my home TVs.

I might try the firestick approach next just to see what can be done.

Maybe this will clear up some of the mystery. This is a generic way Tiffin wires the AV cabinet. The HDMI splitters convert the signal to Cat5 ethernet cable, then there is a decoder behind each TV that converts it back to HDMI. In the past, the bedroom TV was connected by straight HDMI, but I haven't confirmed if the newer ones are that way or not.

Okay, I have pretty much gotten all four tvs figured out as far as using OTA, ca ble, and satellite. Can even use my new little Pathfinder on the bedroom tv but have to run the cable through the window to the second satellite receiver so we can watch channels on two satellites at once. Think when the dealer put the second receiver in he had to use whatever the outside sat connector was connected to. Not happy, but dealing with it till we get to Red Bay and some hopefully more competent electronics guys. Question for now is how can I hook up my Apple TV to at least one of the tvs? There are no exposed HDMI connections and I’m not venturing into the dark hole with all the splitters etc. I would like to be able to mirror things I have recorded on my receiver back home through my iPad since I don’t have record capability with these two in my motorhome. Is it possible, or am I just asking for the moon?

You say there are no exposed HDMI connections on the TVs. Are there open HDMI connections on the TV not exposed? If yes, then pull down the TV and connect a HDMI cable to it.

If there is Disc Player going to all TVs you could put a HDMI A/B switch there and the Apple TV. Switch between the Disc Player and Apple TV.

My experience with Smart TV and connecting to their WiFi is with mixed results. The TV are underpowered, processor-wise, and have interoperability issues. Better to have external 'smart' box such as Roku, Apple TV, etc.

When we bought the Phaeton last year I requested that they plug an HDMI cable into the back of one or two of the tvs and just leave the end where I could get at it to be able to plug my Apple or whatever into it. Went back to take delivery and was told all HDMIs on the backs of the tvs were in use, so sorry. The A/B switch sounds like a possibility, might have one lying around here somewhere. On second thought, I suppose it would be an older one with cable connections if I do have one. Not sure if I’ve ever seen one to use with HDMI. Walmart?

My Samsung’s work well with my hotspot, not usually with cg Wi-Fi. Apple TV has more apps plus the mirroring setup.
