Has anyone upgraded their clothes hanger rod in the rear closet. When loaded with clothes, it sags considerably. I am concerned about it breaking. I wanted to replace it with a heavier size pipe but not sure of size to use. For the time being, I have placed a wooden rod from center of the rod to the floor. It helps but is unsightly.
Looking for any suggestions.

Mine had a center support bracket attached. Yours didn't?

I'd suggest using a piece of stainless tubing, same outside diameter, & cut to length. Then replace the wooden rod. Result, no more sagging, no painting, nor rusting, & a much stronger clothes rod! And no support rod from the floor either!
