2018 Phaeton 40IH Passenger Seat

The passenger seat hits the slide which prevents the occupant from reclining the seat back to get comfortable. I read an old post about this a couple of months ago that referenced a company on the west coast that made an adapter plate to move the seat forward 2” to enable the back to recline. I’ve searched and searched but can’t find it again. Hopefully, someone can help!!

Modified Phaeton Passenger Seat Pedestal
Tiffin does have a modified passenger seat pedestal. It gives the passenger an additional 2 inches of recline. I purchased mine (Phaeton 40 QBH) from Martin Hveem Restoration & Coaches in Redding, CA. and they installed it. They are a preferred and approved Tiffin repair business. Mark Span is your contact. 530-244-4153. I do not have the part number unfortunately. You could also try contacting Tiffin direct if you prefer.

Mine is the same way. Tiffin could have done a better job with this. The DW puts up with it, I couldnt. Good thing I do all the driving, and the driver seat is not much better.
