2018 Phaeton - Dishwasher and TV Lift trouble

Hello there folks - I have searched the archives but I can't seem to find anything specific to my issues, so I am coming to see if anyone else has faced these and may have ideas to help me dig in....

Problem One - the TV lift. Ever since we got the coach (earlier this year), the TV goes up pretty well, but coming down it makes a terrible noise and it is clearly not aligned properly. Thinking i will have to pull the couch and see if i can get to the mechanism - not sure what kind of access i will get - any thoughts on what to look for if i can get to it?

Problem Two - the dishwasher worked great.... until it started stopping mid-cycle and then wont drain. We verified we had plenty of grey tank space and i cant see any clog (not sure i could) - any tips on where to start troubleshooting?

Can you look down inside the TV cabinet as the elevator goes down to make sure all the wires are out of the way, or see what might be hanging up?
What is it you see that makes it "clear" you have an alignment issue?
