2020 40IH Battery equalization

I have a 2020 Phaeton 40IH. How do you start the battery equalization process from the Spyder panel? The Magnum manual doesn’t reference control from the Spyder panel.

The Spyder system should automatically charge each set of batteries usually house first. When the batteries get to I believe is 12.4 they are charged, if chassis lowers first then the Spyder will charge those. I may be wrong but I don’t think you can selectively pick. I think you can change the voltage requirement for when the battery voltage charging comes on though.
Suggest you down load manuals from Spyder site.

Do you mean the equalization charging process where charger brings charging voltage up around 14.5 vdc for a limited amount of time to help clean the internal plates in a lead acid battery? I was also wondering on our 2021 45OPP if our Spyder System was preprogrammed to equalize our (6) Lifeline AGM house batteries. Do possible any battery experts like Larry with the new Super C have an answer? Please stay safe.

An equalization charge is up to 15.5 volts and held for 2 to 3 hours.
Except in rare instances it's only for flooded batteries.

On my '20 Bus, you go to the Power Tab and if the Charge button shows that it's currently in Float mode, simply hold the button for 5sec and it will begin the Equalize. You can't do it while it's in Bulk or Absorption mode. Good luck!

Same for my Phaeton except it takes about 8 seconds.

"simply hold the button for 5sec and it will begin the Equalize"

Is it necessary to isolate the output from the higher than normal battery voltage while the house batteries are equalizing?
