Sherman gave me a price with a trade in and stated I would need to roll my entire loan balance of 45k into my new RV loan for 20 years. I was told the best option was to sell my RV taking it out of the equation. I sold my RV and lost 10k then I informed them of such and then they were too busy to assist me. When I later asked about the price it went up 20k and they are more than Florida dealers so why drive there.

Lazydays Sales person is rude.

LaMesa is slow to respond.

Ingram gave me a price and they are not pushy but did follow-up with me and were professional. Their price was very close to Florida dealers quotes. Not worth the drive as the diesel would cost more to drive back to Florida than the savings in purchase price.

North Trail even though they are 3 hours away has been awesome. My Sales person has gone above and beyond so far. He has never met me. Communicates mostly by email as I requested. He is very prompt and has returned all of my emails within 1 hour. He has provided several quotes and explanations for anything that was not clear. The GM has called me and was very professional. Should I choose North Trail I will post the names of those there for others to speak/work with. So far I'm very impressed with North Trail I just wish they had more Tiffin Red units in stock.

I hope that answers your question.

Thank you for your reply and observations/evaluations. I agree no need to travel miles if there is not a $$$ incentive. Unsettling to hear your Sherman experience.

truma

we are new 21 open road owners..

ordered the truma with understanding that economy mode would work well..
it doesn't. at least not in ours. never got hot enough for dishwashing or a hot shower. ... that leaves normal mode.. more propane... our old hot water production was very hot, with just electric.

if you boondock a lot... maybe you'll save a little water. so maybe it will be worth the money to buy and cost of propane...
but at this point (admittedly light use of regular mode) my opinion... we should have saved the cost of truma.

i hope some other folks jump in singing the praises of the truma. maybe our system is broke?

Update on Lazydays comment:

I spoke with one of the top managers who is changing my crown club sales person. He was very nice and apologetic. Since he called me and took 30+ minutes of his time to speak with me I will put them back in the running. It's North Trail versus Lazydays.

As of right now North Trail has the best price quote and Lazydays has the most amenities and perks and is closer to me.

I have one entire day set aside for each within the next two weeks.

Met with Lazydays yesterday

We met with a Lazydays rep yesterday. Nice person, too busy, not really interested in our business. My wife wanted to leave after we waited 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. We stayed and around the 45 minute later mark our meeting began. No offer to test drive, had other clients. Not rude my wife did not feel welcomed and felt like if you want to buy one here, buy one, if not don't we have lots of other customers that will.

Currently Lazydays is 15k higher than three other dealer quotes for the same 2021 unit.

I was hoping they could come down another 10k at least to be in the ballpark but I thought wrong.

I hope when we go to North Trail and LaMesa they really want me as a customer. It's only a 250k purchase...............

Sounds like somebody didn't get the memo,,,or didn't care. Better luck elsewhere. Soon I'll be going through the same process you are. I'm sure we will both be happy at the end result.

Changed our minds to now order a 37PA

We have now decided the 37PA model fit us better. We were planning on using the bunks for clothes storage in the 38KA. We are now firm on our options at least at 12:

1. ALL electric with Aquahot and Induction cooktop
2. 3 AC units
3. CB antenna
4. 1 slide out tray
5. 1 solar panel
6. Pre-wire for satellite
7. Washer/Dryer stack
8. King bed memory foam mattress
9. Passenger side opening window
10. Fireplace
11. Dishwasher
12. Wi-Fi ranger

$15,516.00 total for options

$295,140.00 MSRP

Total MSRP with options: $310,656.00

Order of dealers price quotes from best (lowest) to worst (highest)

1. North Trail
2. Ingram
3. Sherman
4. La Mesa
5. Lazydays

May not make much difference but the KA has a 53% ratio wheelbase to overall length and the 37 has a 30%. After owning a 33AA I believe the higher ratio will handle better. JMO

Hows that when the length is within 1 foot of each other? Never thought of that to look at.

In inches divide overall length by wheelbase.

PHOTO of 37PA interior with slides retracted?

I forgot to ask to retract the slides to see the clearance on the Tiffin 37PA. If anyone has a photo they would share that would be great please.
