2021 Breeze gets 6.7 Cummins

The Breeze finally gets a good engine - 6.7 340HP. Unfortunately for me we're getting out of rving. Now the Breeze should sell a lot better. Dave

Allegro - Yes, even the 2020 was equipped with the ISB. The big deal on the 2021 is integrated Mobile Eye, Washer/Dryer, and stability control. All significant and movement upscale.

However, the most valuable feature is the 8ft width and lower height that has been inherent with the Breeze from day one. A very nice package.

Now, what's this about getting out of RVing? With all these improvements, in a few years, the Breeze may be self driving and extend our RVing days another decade. Thanks for giving the Breeze some press.

Feel free to disagree. It was my understanding that they shut down 2019 production in January of 2019 when the V8 inventory was consumed. Some folks posted in January that the Breeze was going to be replaced with the 340 Red. However, Breeze production did restart with the 340 ISB. Interesting that the 2020 340 RED was produced on a powerglide chassis. The 2020 dealer inventory we toured in the Fall of 2019 was all 340 ISB powered. We saw a white and grey coach in Louisiana, a red and black one in Texas, and another white and grey one in California. The 2020 we ordered in January of 2020 and picked up in April was, of course, an ISB 340.

EDIT note - the engine in the 2021 is supposed to be a new model of the Cummins straight 6. Understand it is called the B6.7 and has a different emission package, which weighs a bit less.

You might reference the 2020 PG chassis manual that is on the Tiffin website. https://tiffinmotorhomes-rcgarkskyk9...sis-Manual.pdf

Alternate info on a different forum

Going to add a bit more confusion. A post on the Tiffin Forum is asking if Tiffin built some ISV 2020s. The poster is trying to buy a new 2020 that has a build sheet which lists the engine as an ISV. And so the mystery proceeds.

I'm betting it's old information on the build sheet, design outpaced the form printing schedule. Ours had the wrong weight listed, so it happens.

Information from another site reports that a Tiffin rep says the initial 2020 Breeze production was ISV. Mid year, it changed to the ISB.

My 2020 Breeze with ISB 6.7 with 340hp and 700 ft/lbs would disagree with you.

Follow-up ----- the fellow on the other site purchased a new, dealer stock 2020 33BR with the 5.0 ISV engine. So, the 2020 model year started with the 5.0 ISV engine and later changed to the ISB.
