2022 36 ua AGS temp sensor

Anyone know where in the RV the AC temp trigger sensor would be hidden?

Mine are located in ceiling, small round thermistors I believe. I could be wrong about this though.

No, those are for the AC thermostat.

Thanks.

Yes, the AGS uses these for temp also. Set Magnum controller to ext input for temp control and it will use the same system as ac/heat. If I remember they use a “pigtail” adapter that was installed at the factory to allow this to work.

That was it. External Input was the winner.

Thanks

There are 3 of these in my coach (3 ceiling thermistors for the A/C and heat). They frequently have widely disparate readings. Which sensor does the AGS use? My front area can be much warmer than the rest of the coach.

It doesn't directly use any of those. The thermostats (which are virtual in my coach, part of the Spyder system) request AC, and that triggers the generator. Either the front or rear AC being triggered by the thermostat will trigger the AGS to start the generator.
