Generally, it's called a BIM, or BiRD, or BigBoy and it's usually near (between) the chassis and battery cutoff relays.
I added LiFePO4 batteries to my Adventurer - I removed the BIM and replaced it's main functions with a DC2DC charger to charge the new LiPos when driving and then added a Trik-L-Start charger for the Chassis battery when parked on shore power.
It seemed daunting at first but was actually very straight forward.
PS. Just noticed your Terex GM handle - I grew up around Akron/Hudson and used to drive by the Terex HQ all the time. I remember that GIANT tire out on the front lawn.
