2022 Tiffin Open Road order

Anyone else with a 2022 Open Road order waiting for a build date? I've had a Tiffin order number since mid-August... still waiting for a build date. It's for a 32SA on the optional 24K chassis.

I know things are different now than last year, but we ordered a new 2021 Open Road 32SA (on the 24k chassis) in late October 2020 and it showed up at our local dealer in mid-March 2021. So, between four and five months. We got no build date or any other hints that it was on its way until the phone call asking what day we wanted to take delivery. As noted in other threads, Tiffin has dozens (hundreds?) of nearly completed units sitting outside the factory waiting on specific components that are back ordered. I’d suggest calling the factory directly for an update.

I'm in contact with both the dealer and Tiffin. Everyone is very upfront about it, I was just wondering if anyone else is in the same situation. It's my understanding it's an issue with the 24K chassis availability.

We ordered our 2022 Open Road 34PA in late November. At the time we were told to expect it in "the March-April-May" timeframe. We've not gotten any updates yet. We ordered with the 24K chassis (standard for this model) with the Liquid Springs option. Maybe they have some of the LS chassis on hand .

26k chassis is standard for 34pa not the 24k

I stand corrected, the 34PA is on a 26K chassis.

In our experience we ordered our 2022 34PA 26k chassis with the liquid springs option the end of March. We received our order confirmation on April 9th and I didn’t hear another peep on a build date until our dealer contacted us in early September with news the coach was complete and shipping. I took delivery on September 30th.

At the time of ordering we were told to expect 4 to 6 months for delivery but “there are no guarantees” on actual timing due to numerous supply chain issues. Actual time was almost exactly six months from signing the contract. Everything ordered, except the ladder, was on the coach. After some initial consternation about the ladder I’m actually OK without it. A telescoping ladder works just fine and allows for alternative access points.

We placed an order for our 2022 34PA on 8/20/21 and just yesterday received word that the estimated ship date is 3/8/22. There have already been two price increases since we placed the order that has jacked up the cost about 8% above our original deal. I'm really hoping that our unit is built and shipped before they bump the prices up again...

It's seems insane to order something as expensive as this, with no guarantee of how long it will take to get it and how much it will ultimately cost once it finally shows up. (and in some cases, not even getting all of the same components you thought you were going to get).

You folks who have ordered a 2022 34PA or 32SA, do you mind sharing the MSRP for the base price of your ordered motorhome?...ie before your add ons. Thank you!

When I ordered my 2022 32SA on June 2 2021 the base price msrp on a 24k chassis was $186,070.

Here's what I have for MSRP base prices based on the Tiffin retail price lists going back to July 2021. These are from a dealer in the mid-west. I don't know if there are regional differences in the MSRP pricing.

Tinkr, Can you share the latest (2/1/22) price sheet for the 2022 Open Road Allegro ?
We also have an "Estimated Ship Date" of 3/8/22 on our 34PA. We accepted the price bump from the 10/6/21 price to the 11/29/21 price. Our dealer hasn't told us about the latest 2/1/22 increase. I'm hoping they are not planning on a price surprise on delivery. I told them in January that another price increase might be a deal killer.

BTW, our estimated ship date was 3/8/22 and I just got a call this morning from our dealer saying it had arrived. (~2 weeks early!)
