31SA/32SA Couch
We are looking at purchasing a used 31 or 32SA. We found one we like but it has an odd couch in it. We are told it came with an "L" shape couch (which we want) but it was changed for a smaller jack-knife type couch.
My questions are:
How does one remove or install a couch in a motorhome? Will they fit through the door? Front window??
Is there a place to buy factory "L" shaped couch? Hopefully one that would match the existing color scheme.

A little research and I found out that the couches unbolt for removal. So that answers the first question.

We used Comfort Design by Lambright which is south of Shipshewana in Indiana. They did a great job of replacing the factory installed theater seating with two custom designed recliners. They were built to match the rest of our furniture both in color and style. Since they replace original furniture so often, they may have what you are looking for. If not, they will probably be able to build what you are looking for.
Another option is the Bunk House in Red Bay. They also replace a lot of original furniture.

Recliners for me. Took the sofa out and replaced with recliners. Sofas are just not comfortable to sit on, although they do usually give you another sleeping arrangement. I decided to use air mattresses on the floor if needed for additional sleeping. I want my comfort.
The sofas do unbolt from the floor and then can be taken apart; the back and arms come off (at least mine did).
Thanks,

I was going to go with the RV furniture but after looking around I see no need to pay more simply because it goes in an RV. And by more I mean twice as much. It's just not worth it for a less comfortable couch.

Do yourself a favor and do a search on the L shaped pull out couch. I know you said you wanted it, BUT it has not been well received.
A lot of people that had them said that they would go the other way if they had the chance. I was going to order it with my new coach, but after reading all the reviews I went with a recliner instead.
Regards PAM

Most RV furniture is about as comfortable as the rack in the Tower of London. I would go to a regular furniture store and find something that will fit in the coach and is comfortable.

I own a 32SA with a "L" shaped couch. I was thinking of changing it out for a smaller jack-knife style couch because when the bed is out there is NO passage from the back to the front. Check it out.
I also just had my couch re-covered in Red Bay. I comes apart in several pieces and out the door with no problems.
Also Furniture is very short supply now just like air conditioners.

In the Tiffin swap shop forum on Facebook a guy is selling on in Birmingham Alabama
https://www.facebook.com/groups/657640041323515/permalink/1312405415846971/?sale_post_id=1312405415846971
Not sure what the color is called but the one being sold is kind of a light brown.
We have an L shaped County in our 32SA and like it. When extended it blocks the bedroom from the front of the coach which is annoying, but on the plus side it makes for a much more comfortable bed then a jack knife.

The bed is as you said is much more comfortable. We only use it when the grandchildren are with us, so it’s great for the two of us. I hope you find the right color.

We had a 2016 32 SA that came with the L shaped couch. The corner section was so uncomfortable that our dog wouldn't even lay on it. IMHO go with a regular couch.

I guess we better sit in a few more of them before we make a final decision.

I would get anything that reclines, otherwise I’m not comfortable reading, watching TV, relaxing, even sitting outside I have a reclining chair. Can get reclining chairs, sofas, loveseats or theater seats. My suggestion is anything that reclines from a regular furniture store that will fit in there. My reclining loveseat came from Ivan Smith and was in stock. Just my opinion, since everyone was asking. Lol.

Do the straight couches have any value? I removed mine recently and am looking to dispose of it.
