32sa inverter

We put on 4500 miles on our 2015 Tiffin 32SA last autumn and during the trip, the inverter tripped three times due to the excessive heat coming from the engine compartment. Reset and let the box fan cool with the bay door open and no problems while stationary. Anyone have suggestions on getting air movement into the bay while on the road?

32sa inverter

We have a 2014 36LA and think that we have the inverter in the same place and if you notice the top part of that cabinet is cut away and open. Maybe there is something stopping the flow of warm air out and upward from this compartment. It is possible that Tiffin forgot and did not do a cutout for this compartment. Also it is possible that the 12gauge wire is not tightened down enough or in fact is loose causing low grade arcing or worse. Check the Red, White and Ground(copper). Be careful to remove watches and rings. Might be a good idea to wrap your screw driver with electrical tape and disconnect the chassis battery.
Had loose wires on ours along with loose everything else.
