33 RED creaking bedroom floor

we have a 2017 33A RED and over the past 4 months the bedroom floor at the end of the bed, beside the step up over the motor, has started to creak. At first it was in one place, now it is about 2 square feet.

I had the same problem in my last unit which was a 5th wheel. Suggestion was to simply use 1 " wood screws and screw right through the carpet every 4-6 inches. Could not feel the screw heads, but in the 5th wheel I knew exactly what was under the floor.... I have no idea what I is under the floor, other then the motor, but wires? hoses? how thick the floor is? Or is there another solution?

My DW does not see the problem, but it bugs me every time I step on it.... I have been called many things... picky may be one of them.

Any and all suggestions welcome.

If you can get to the area directly under the part of the floor that's squeaking, you can use some tapered shims between the sub floor and the frame to stop movement. The sub floor is a sandwich of plywood on top, styrofoam in the middle and another plywood underneath.

Either wedges or a squirt of construction adhesive between the plywood and the underlying frame. However, you have to be able to locate the area on the subframe. While you are poking around under there, check the welding on the subframe pieces for breaks or cracks.
