33AA Basement Storage Space
We are considering buying a 2025 33AA. I have not actually seen one in person yet so this may be a non issue, however...It looks like there is very little basement storage space. Only one slide out tray and a few smaller compartments.
We currently have a 2019 Breeze 31BR. The literature says that the 33AA has a few more cubic feet of storage but I find that odd for a coach that is 3 to 4 feet longer. I would think it would have quite a bit more.
The storage in the Breeze is one continuous bay. It has a door and half access on both sides. From front to back the storage is 64 inches on each side and almost 90 inches running down the middle of the coach directly under the rails. I can easily put golf clubs in laying front to back.
From what I can see online the storage looks quite limited in the 33AA. It may have more CUBIC feet due to the height of the bay but that really doesn't help that much if you have to stack stuff to the ceiling. I doubt I could lay golf clubs running front to back on the tray. The sliding tray would not function as your stuff would hit the rails when trying to deploy the tray.
Anyway...Can any of the 33AA owners let me know your experiences with the storage please?
Thank you,
Stan

Not a 33AA owner but...
Will you be towing a vehicle to get to the links? My clubs stay in the back of my tow vehicle (along with a couple jugs of DEF).
I had a Berkshire with similar storage as the 33AA, I feel your pain.

When we took delivery of our 33aa and were transferring our stuff from our trade which was a similar length gasser, to the 33aa I was amazed at how much we had to put into our Jeep to get it home. Funny, but since eliminating what would not fit, I do not think that we ever needed any of it with the exception of a second set of chairs that we now carry in the Jeep.

A bit disappointing
I was hoping for a more positive response. I am a bit disappointed. Right now we have a good bit of unused space in our Breeze so I am hoping our “payload” will fit in the 33AA.
Just looking at the coach it seems like there should be quite a bit more space down below.
Hopefully I will hear from a few owners who have had a more positive experience.
Thank you for your responses.
We don’t tow and want to keep it that way. That is why we want to stay at the 35 ft max length.

Don't hold your breath. Physics is still physics. Shorter coaches simply don't have as much bay space. That's one of the reasons that I opted to not get an all electric coach. Didn't want to loose the second pass thru to the Aqua Hot boiler on my 37' Phaeton.

Golf clubs will NOT fit front to back in the basement of a 33AA, they would have to go in side to side. Having said that, I have to play Tetris when loading / unloading the basement storage on my coach, particularly since the zero gravity chairs my wife insisted we buy (ok, I enjoy sitting in them as well!!) take up a whole lot of space. I've also learned to do some unloading before deploying the slides, since working to get stuff out of the basement with the slides deployed can be a bit of a chore, particularly for my old back.

We went from a 32SA to a 33AA. First thing I noticed was that I did not have the amount of storage that the 32SA had. With just the two of us, we have managed to trim down to what we need, versus nice to have. We have the one main bay, with a slide tray. After that, it is pretty much cubby holes. However, we take trips of 3+ months and don’t lack fir anything. The upside, is that the interior has more storage than the 32SA had, so we can store more essential items there. I don’t regret the change one bit, as it turns out I was hauling a bunch if stuff I’d probably never use.

When we started moving our belongings from the Itasca Meridian 34Y into the 33AA it seemed as if we had lost some cargo space. Turns out we have the same amount of room, it is just different. I had to find new places to put stuff, but I now have plenty of room and in fact we carry as much or more than we did before. As has been mentioned, it's a good time to get rid of some of that "just in case" stuff - that way you can start accumulating new "just in case" stuff :-)
Safe Travels,

33AA advantage is the higher torque available with 3000 trans
The 33AA has a slightly shorter wheelbase than the Breeze 33BR, so it's not surprising that basement storage is limited when you add a pullout tray.
The 33AA house should have deeper drawers and taller cabinets than the Breeze which is not as tall and 6" narrower.
Golf clubs - I believe the 33AA has a recliner/chair and a pull-out couch on the DS. Wonder if the clubs would fit behind the recliner. You might move them to the bed while traveling. Also, consider a Sunday bag. A little skill development will reduce your clubs by half and you will have less weight to carry.

Hello Putter1 - based upon your user name, I can see that golf and storage for your bag is very important! Looks like you’ve had a lot of good responses. If I can get any measurements for you since you haven’t been able to see one in person yet, feel free to reach out and I’ll get those for you.

33AA Storage
Jayne,
Thank you for reaching out. We did get a chance to see one a few days ago and while the space is a bit limited I believe it will work. Now the tough part is finding one that has what we want configuration wise. I really don’t want to order a 2026 because they are just more expensive and not materially different than the 2025’s but our internet searches are coming up empty.
Thank you again for reaching out.

Does anybody have the latest price list for the 25 or 26 REDs? As well as a list of what has changed?
Love my current 21 RED 33AA, but that new drivetrain sure looks enticing....:-)

FYI, my 2021 33AA, similarly equipped to this one, had a MSRP about $150K less than this one. I know prices have gone up, but that's a lot in just 4 years. Yes, I know the drivetrain upgrade is pricey, and prices overall have gone up quite a bit due to various reasons, but that is a whole lot of money to increase in a short amount of time. Even assuming you could get that coach for 25-30% off of MSRP.
