Found a very nice 34 foot Allegro Bay ......... About to make an offer on it ........ Any suggestions for things I might look for before I make it. Workhorse 27000 miles. Looks clean, found no water leaks, looked in all cabinets for damage etc and found none. Has a 55 watt inverter, but being new i have no idea what it will do. Tires have box with 2610 in it. I'm assuming its 26th week of 2010. Michelin tires. Look good no cracking that I can see. Hard to pull the trigger on your first venture. Anything good or bad I'm open for. Thanks. Doug. Oops. It may be 55 amp inverter... See how smart I am. .

You're right on with the tire age. My coach has two inverters: 1 @ 2800 watts and the other @ 2000. If 55 is correct, don't expect much from it.

The 55 amp is the converter probably, most are usually 45 amps or 55 amps. That is more than enough to run the 12 volt side of things and charge the battery relatively fast.

You must be looking at an 2004 34XB Model similar to mine. Check the Brake Reservoir for a decal showing the Bosch Brake calipers were replaced via the recall. Fridge units [Dometic & Norcold] also had a recall that added a sheetmetal barrier surrounding the flame burner.
