Additional insulation to the underbelly of 2019 Bus

camping while night temp dipped to upper 30f, i noticed that the front of the coach, especially the floor between the driver and copilot was very cold. apparently Tiffin saved on the floor heating in the coldest area. crawling under, i found that the stair case surround by sheet metal and very little foam spray on the sides., but nothing on the large side behind. (started to rust) i wonder if anybody added insulation to the underbelly inside the storage bays and in the front and did it make a difference.I do not want to add insulation that will attract mice.

Here's my 2 cents.

We have a different coach than you do but...this is a common problem in most coaches.

The stairway is a common place for cold air to come up thru. I made this insulated cover that I pop down over the steps on those cold nights and I store it behind our love seat. It makes a HUGE difference in keeping the heat in and keeps the coach nice and toasty.

Insulation board got at HD.
