Adhesive Suggestion

One of the handles which was glued to the mirror/wardrobe door on our closet came off. Any idea what Tiffin used for adhesive (glass to glass) to put these on?
Thanks in advance.

In the boating world, 3M's 5200 will glue to anything. Most stores carry the stuff, but clean it up before it dries!

You could always just call a glass place for their suggestions, but what fun would that be?

Actually I think they are all wrong. I believe that you can go to Lowes and get the heavy duty outdoor double sided tape. That is what I put on mine and it was exactly like what I scraped off of the door when I had to clean the broken handle off to replace it.

3m makes a good one in various widths, good for exterior trim...

My mirrored handle came off. Got a new one from Tiffin and they are held on with 3M double sided automotive molding tape.

Thanks to all for the responses. I did have to peel off some dried black tape so I guess it's the tape to go with.

Thanks to all who replied. I did go with the 2 sided tape and it has held quite well.
Now I have a new problem, a little more serious. I'm 1,200 miles from home in my '07 Phaeton QDH and have lost the indicator lights on the panel above the the drivers seat. This morning I turned on the water heater (gas fired) and the indicator light came on. Within a half hour I looked back at the panel and the heater light was off. I checked it and the switch was still on but no indicator light. I checked the tank level indicators and they along with the 120v heater light would not work. The slide(s) switches which are mounted on the same panel work fine. The water heater still works when the switch is activated, just no indicator lights at all on the panel. I checked the manual and can find nothing covering my problem.
Anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks in advance, Don.

We bought some German made "super glue" at the Redmond FMCA rally. Was expensive but I used it to glue one of the mirror handles back together. Took me a few minutes to get my thumb unglued from the handle too.

Turn it gas water heater switch off then back on. When the light above the on off switch goes off it means the heater lost its pilot gas. Observe for a minute or two and be sure it stays off. If it goes back off repeat the above
