air noise (?) under front of 2012 bus

I recently bought a 2012 43qgp allegro bus with 25,000 miles. It has what sounds like an air hissing noise under the front end while the engine is running. The noise stops immediately when I turn off the engine.

What is it ? Should I be concerned ?

Thanks.

Air noise? Could you be hearing the dash air conditioner condenser fan?

I've got house air connectors in the front of my bus. Maybe you have a leak or an open line in one of those....

I thought of that, but the OP says that the noise stops as soon as he shuts off the engine.

I'm not sure if TMH ever used vacuum pumps for heater controls. I do know that they don't currently use them.

It could also be a bad ride height control valve although they can continue to leak after the engine is shut off.

Diagnosis of the problem

Took the motorhome to Freightliner, they talked to Tiffin, and the conclusion is that the noise is associated with normal operation of the power steering system.

I plan to talk to other bus owners along the way to see if they also hear the same noise in their coach.

Thanks to everyone for your input.

Noticed the noise too. Had it checked out after I crawled under it. Most if not all buses on a power glide chassis will have the noise, and yes it is the power steering. Nothing to worry about. A bypass valve inside redirecting flow.
