I am a solo RVer who purchased a new 2012 Breeze in April, 2012. So far, I've logged a little over 30,000 miles on it pulling a 2012 Jeep Wrangler (2dr.) The Breeze replaced an Airstream trailer I had been towing behind an F250 for about 6 years.
The size, floor plan and fact that it was a diesel pusher with air suspension and air brakes is what initially attracted me. There simply was no other coach like it, nor is there today. The short wheelbase makes it extremely maneuverable-- I can fuel it practically anywhere, and I can put it in most any RV site.
The utilization of space and storage is great. Having a dinette that can double as a second sofa right across from the other sofa makes it great for occasional visitors. You can sit across from one another, rather than be lined up on the same side of the coach.
I've also found that it is much easier to set up at camp than the Airstream, and the Wrangler makes a better vehicle for getting around than the large pickup did-- something I didn't originally factor into my decision.
The quality of the interior suits my needs. It is very tasteful, but not overly fancy. Reliability and support from Tiffin has been outstanding. I had two minor chassis issues while traveling during the first few months of ownership that were resolved by a call to Tiffin. Since repaired, the coach has been trouble-free.
About the only things that would make my Breeze better for me would be a full queen bed (I'm 6' tall), a little more walking around space in the bedroom and a bit more power for pulling long mountain grades. But, these small issues do not hamper my overall enjoyment at all.
As far as model year changes, the floor plan and basic layout have been the same since 2011. Here are the other changes as best I can remember:
2012: Added double kitchen sink and increased refrigerator from 6 cu. ft. to 8 cu. ft.
2013: Increased horsepower from 215 to 240 and added exhaust brake.
2014: Added independent front suspension.
Hope this helps. As Bob Tiffin told me before I bought mine, the 28' Breeze isn't for everyone. But, it suits a lot of folks (including me) just fine.
