Allegro Breeze (DP) Air Leveling Problem
We believe that there is a slow leak in the air bag or one of the valves in the air leveling system of our 2015 Tiffin Allegro Breeze 28BR motorhome.
Symptom: Over the course of a week, the front left corner dips to its lowest height. It takes 4 or 5 days to notice the reduced height of this corner.
Workaround: Re-level the system and it raises back to normal.
Note: This Diesel Pusher style Class-A RV does not have jacks - it only has the air leveling system.
My Questions:
1. Is this a common problem with an air leveling system?
2. How to fix?
3. Is this likely to be valve, lines, or air bags?
Thanks!

I can't be 100% certain , but many air leveling equipped coaches have a back up air compressor ( 12 volt ? ) to maintain air in the system when the coach is sitting for long periods.
Contact the chassis manufacturer with your serial number , and ask for an air system diagram .

That’s unusual not to have jacks. But if you have air leveling from Tiffin, I am pretty sure it has a pump. It’s usually in the DS front compartment on Buses.

Our '11 Breeze 28 had air bags that also served as auto levelers. The unit did not come with jacks. On occasion when camping, we could hear the air pump come on to re-level for any loss of air. We had the air bags inspected and they allegedly showed no evidence of leaks. We assumed that was normal and ignored it.

Ole Breezer,
Hearing that automatically your "air pump comes on to re-level" indicates that you leave the leveling system on after leveling is complete.
I always press "Cancel" and leave it as-is after leveling is complete.
Question to you and the group: Should I leave the leveling system ON while camping and while parked at home?
What about when shore power is not available?
Thanks!

My rig only has air leveling, also has a pump to maintain the level when parked. I parked the rig last November and two days ago I had to start the main engine to level it out so I don't think the aux pump is working. Just another thing to fix!

What source do you base this information on? Are you referring to Tiffin products only?

Suggest you call the nice people at Tiffin 256-356-0261 and get the answers to all your questions directly from them since they are the Powerglide chassis manufacturer and are super helpful.

Hi David,
I own a 2012 28BR that I purchased new. I had the exact same issue as you the second year I owned it. The left front would drop down after a couple of days parked at my house. I fixed this problem on my own. I made up a spray bottle of hot soapy water. In the front left lower firewall there is a part where all the hoses go to which also has solenoids. I sprayer hot soapy water around the back of the whole piece where it's mounted on the firewall. It started to show bubbles. In order to unmount it, you have to go into the compartment where your house batteries are, which is under the top step inside your coach. There are 2 bolts that hold this unit. Undo the 2 bolts so the unit can be lowered so you can just access the back side of it. There are 2 tiny allenhead screws threaded into the back of this unit. I'm not sure what there for, but I think they may be bleeders. Anyway 1 of them had a slight leak coming from it. I removed both of them and put teflon tape around them. I've never had a problem since I fixed these 2 little screws. Make sure your coach is ALL THE WAY DOWN because when you remove the little screws to put teflon tape on them all air comes out of your leveling system. With the coach all the way down it's tuff to work under it but it can be done. If I had to do this job again, it would take about 30 minutes and not 1 1/2 hours like the 1st time. Make sure you spray hot soapy water where I said and see bubbles. Otherwise you'll have to follow the line and spray all the way to the air bladder and find the air leak elsewhere. I think you'll find it where I said. Let us know.

This is not common.
My coach does not have a 12 volt air compressor that self levels the 28BR. When it needs to self level it uses air that is stored in the storage tank located by the passenger rear tires. Sorry for this double post. I tried to edit the other but I couldn't.

If you let your Breeze level itself automatically, do NOT press cancel - the HWH system is designed to monitor itself and adjust every 1/2 hour (the computer shuts itself off in between times). This is explained in the manuals that I have posted on this thread:
http://www.tiffinrvnetwork.com/forum...c.php?t=100756
When I park my 2011 Breeze 28 BR for extended periods, I let all the air out of the leveling system by pressing “Dump” on the HWH panel.
