Allegro Bus 35CP vs 40IP

I realize the 35CP is a newer plan. But who here cross shopped both floor plans and if you bought, why?

We really like the 35CP kitchen but desire a second bathroom. Truthfully a likely good choice either way but hey, I thought I'd ask.

Personally, while I have the 2nd bathroom, it is a love hate affair. We have the 43 QGP floor plan and like that the shower door works better being curved. I do wish we could have found a 35 or 36 ft coach to replace our 40 ft but we sort of fell in love with all the room in the 43. Water under the bridge at this juncture unless we can find this rig a new home. It is for sale (2010 43 QGP Allegro Bus/def). lol

I like shorter coaches because they allow me to user a larger set of campgrounds. That being said the only thing that really prevented me from a 35CP was having the bathroom in the bedroom. We rarely have guests with us but when we do I would not wanting them walking through my bedroom at night in order to use the bathroom. Therefore I ordered a 37AP. Still on the shorter side but with a bathroom common to both the bedroom and the living area. Previous I had a Phaeton 40IH, same floor plan as the 40IP. Very nice layout with the bath and a half.

just went through this same process, looked at the 37AP, 35CP, 40AP, 40IH, and 40IP. First off, it you want to go shorter, I really like the 37AP, the mid bath is a great layout and design. Only issue is the new 37AP dinette doesn't convert to a bed, we needed 3 sleeping areas (2 kids). I liked the 35CP as well, but the lack of a 3rd sleeping area was an issue again. We chose the Bus 40IP, but I really liked the Phaeton 40IH as well, it was a close second. Happy Hunting!
