Sort of a yes and no answer. The top door limiter can be removed and the rivets, (at each end and at the pivot) can be tightened by some careful work with a ball peen hammer. Use caution though, as too much hammering can work harden them and cause them to break. Both of those arms are very hard, so bending them so the dimple that holds the door open is more effective, is not a very good solution.
