We would need more info on the slide type to offer any valuable advice. The info already provided here is good for HWH slides but not LCI. If that slide is LCI, there is a synch procedure that works very well.

My motor home is not an Allegro. It is a Holiday Rambler Ambassador. However, I wonder if you could replace your glides with rollers. One of my glides was about 8 feet long. It came loose except for one end. It was hanging out from the coach. I removed it and installed rollers. It works much better. Of course, it damaged the interior floor pretty badly before I could do the change out.

Sam thanks for your photo and suggestion. I am slightly confused by the portion quoted above.

What is the stud and stop bolt you are referring?

I can only imagine the purpose of the two threaded nuts that Tiffin installed were used for slide adjustment when assembling at the factory. Not taking anything away from the jack suggestion but this seems to be the easier way to an end.
