Allegro RED Fireplace Installation

We're looking at buying a used RED 33AA. However, it does not have a fireplace that we really want. Does anyone have experience installing a fireplace after the fact? If so, can you tell me the approximate cost for parts and installation? Is it something a handy person can do without having to take it to an RV customizer?

EVO-Bob,
I had a 2011 Damon Daybreak 3211 and I put a electric fireplace in and it turned out really great and the price at that time a couple of years ago was 199.00 including shipping and tax.If you are interested in more info PM me and I will get you the info with some pics.

Electric fireplace install can be easy - or not, depends on what you want. And is surely a project not limited to Tiffins.

I HAD to have one after seeing them in a big 5er. I chose a flush mount unit...

The look is great, and the extra little heater is wonderful on a cool evening or to take the chill off a chilly morning.

Best luck

We have a standalone fireplace / heater. Bought from Costco for about $175 I believe. Stows behind the copilot seat when traveling or not in use. Slide it out and turn it on when desired. We enjoy it and it's a pretty good functional heater.
