Allegro Seat Belt Recall

I have a 2021 Allegro 32SA that fell within the couch seat belt recall. I took to General RV Clarkston Michigan last May and the parts we just available now. I dropped off the motorhome last Thursday and picked it up Friday. To my surprise the fix was to remove 1 of the 3 seat belts and anchor the remaining 2 in a new position on the couch. When I purchase the 32SA I required a total of 7 seatbelts but now have 6. My question is did anyone else have the same outcome on a 32SA with the seat belt recall fix. Thank you advance for your response.

I still haven't taken mine in to have it done, but I recall from prior posts on this forum that it was how they were bolted in. I don't recall anyone losing a seatbelt. I would call Tiffin.

I got mine done at Tiffin in Red Bay. I've got a 38ll, but had the same recall. I didn't loose a seat belt. They just repositioned the anchor points so that each strap was located in the proper position for safety.

This sounds like General was to lazy to mount the steel block Tiffin supplied with the kit. This is not a 30 minute job as Tiffin allows. We didn’t loose any seating
