Antenna on back ladder, wire routing advice

I’ve got the antenna to mount on the back ladder and router to put inside for my internal network. As a side bar, I’ve also got a Mobley so don’t know if I really need the antenna now. Anyway, those of you that have a ladder mount antenna, I’m looking for cable routing advice. I could go through the back into the closet, but how do I know I won’t hit something vital when drilling? That location was my first thought, but what have you done? I’m all about not reinventing the wheel so let me glom your suggestions/ideas.
Thanks in advance

The rear cap has space between it and the actual back wall of the bedroom. You could try looking up from under the rear bumper and see if you can see into that space.

I have multiple antennas on the ladder. I run the cables down the ladder - under the rear - and into the side of a rear-most storage compartment. Ham radio equipment there. Above the storage compartment is stacked laundry - drilled a hole in the top of the storage compartment / rear of laundry. Laundry is next to rear closet - Wi-Fi access point there.

YMMV.
