I'm trying to understand why you would ever need to winterized a aqua hot system unless its stored at very low temps for three or more months without use and no shore power or generator.

you dont winterize a aqua hot system.U winterize the hot water supply part of the aqua hot which is just a small part of the whole aqua hot system.

OK, I just thought that all water in the coach would be protected by even the lowest setting of the aqua hot even in extreme cold as it would keep all areas above freezing.

it might very well do that assuming you are plugged in and full of diesel
required to run system in cold weather for 3 months
Now that being said if its like -15 for several days I would be worried about the outside shower and water filter that are usually in the wet bay and close to the door may not get enough heat when set on minimum
