He was referencing my observation.

I don't know. I don't have a temp sensor (besides the AH probe) down there - set at 45°. However, the water was flowing. I did find out the power was actually off for 9+ hours. Since my inside temps were only 2-4° below the set temp, I think the basement would have been around 43°. (Since the AH should still have been working off the inverter. Batteries were nearly down to starting the generator. )

Looking at getting a wifi temp sensor with historical data and low temps alerts.

I still think 20° with just electric is fine. But the wifi sensor sure will make sleeping better. If I weren't planning a Jan/Feb trip to Red Bay, I would have winterized it.

As always, your results may vary.
My coach wouldn't be close to that temp on electric element alone.

I’m concerned about the wet bay heating with AH electric based on last nights results. I expected it to be at least 38 or above based on setting for 41-45 on wet bay thermostat. My spyder showed 34 degrees…too close for comfort. A temp WiFi sensor with low temp alerts would be great.

PR I m thinking it would have to be a good 4 to 5 hour Freeze. As Entegra coaches have the best insulation if any other coach. Period

I got my wifi temp sensor yesterday. Will install it today. Supposed to get down to 30 tomorrow morning. I'll have real time & historical data.

Looking forward to your findings. Also, if you don’t mind sharing what WiFi temp sensor you purchased and if you’re pleased with it after use would be appreciated.

Lastly, anyone have any small bay electric heaters recommendations for stored coaches? I don’t think it’s safe to run the diesel AH when stored in an enclosed metal building. I’m trying to be proactive and be ready if temps get down to 20 or below…not sure the electric AH can keep the bay above 33 on its on.

To Zoobiewolf. Your explanation of the various heating systems on Tiffin Coaches equipped with Aquahot was excellant. In fact it really simplified the instructions given to us in the Tiffin Owners Manual for new coaches. You should consider writing owners manuals for Tiffin. Please use our name as a reference. Stay Safe.

It is 32° outside right now and my wet bay is 53.6°. I thought I had the rheostat at 45°, but obviously it is higher than that. I'll have to dial it back a little.

I purchased this sensor. https://www.amazon.com/Govee-Indoor-.../dp/B0872ZWV8X

It's hanging off the gray tank gate valve.
I really like it. Very easy to set up, and the app is easy to use.Click image for larger version

Thanks for the valued feedback. One question, do you have heated floors and are they turned on? I ask because they will also help heat the bay area.

Can I heat my wet bay with AH set on electric, and bay rheostat set at the 3 o'clock position, being plugged to a 15amp electric outlet on my home driveway?

On 3 o'clock setting: our rheostat needs to be at 12 o'clock to be at 41°. Doesn't your rheostat have degrees printed? Ours is 63° all the way to the stop on the right & 41° at the top. Not sure what the left stop is, since I don't know why you would use that low of temp.

On 15A service: probably not. Ours uses 14A when the heater element is on. That would only leave 1A for the inverter/charger. The AH needs the house batteries to power the fans & pumps, so you can't disconnect the batteries & invertor/charger.

With only 15A, I think I'd use several light bulbs. If you don't have some old incandescent bulbs, the CFLs get pretty warm.
