The rig has hydraulic brakes and a large yellow diamond shaped parking brake which I believe may be an auto park brake.
How does this brake work? What service, maintenance or adjustments must be made to make sure it is safe? We would hate for rig to roll way on us.
Thanks in advance for your information.

Since FCCC bought Oshkosh, I suggest you contact them with your vin # and see if they can give you a definitive answer.
IF you determine you have a spring-applied, hydraulic pressure release AAPB it MAY be similar to the J71 AAPB that GM/Workhorse used on the P32 chassis. If so, you can read lots of threads on the J71 in the Workhorse forum, and get info about parts and free advice too. Good luck.
IMO, it is vital to your safety that you learn more about exactly what you have that is designed to keep you parked, when you expect to be.
