I've got a 2012 Allegro Bus 40 QBP. When I turn the TV off over fireplace while watching a DVD, the audio of the DVD continues to run through the system. Is that normal. All other TV's when off there is no audio. Also, where is the IR receiver located on this vehicle?

In our 2020 45OPP and previous Allegro Bus the audio continues until you turn off your Blu ray player. Our IR receiver is located in the same cabinet as the player.

I'm betting that if you watched a DVD on any other TV in the coach, the same thing would happen. Your DVD player is likely an all-in-one LG unit that is also an amplifier. It should be powering the overhead speakers, the center channel (under your fireplace TV) and the subwoofer (likely under a bench seat). That gives you 5.1 surround sound that is good for watching movies while sitting across from the fireplace TV. The audio from the DVD doesn't get to the TV at all so powering off the TV doesn't have any effect on the audio portion.

2020 Breeze - when we picked it up there was some confusion on how the Entertainment system functioned. It worked and then its did not. We moved on to worry about it later. Last night, the speakers in the living room got louder and the TV speakers in the bed room could not be heard. We figured it out. The home entertainment remote controlled the living room speakers and the TV remote controlled the Bedroom TV. Simple, well, now it is.

So, we agree with the info above.
