Awning Issue

We have a 2013 Allegro Bus 45LP with the Carefree Paramount awning. It would not come out and was told we needed a new motor. We had it installed at what we thought was a certified tech center only to find out that they really had no hands on experience with the Paramount Awning. We finally just took coach back since they had no idea how to set the limits etc. We were told by Carefree that this is an OEM. Any suggestions - we are staying in AZ and really need the shade. Thanks

Check with La Mesa RV in Tucson, NOT any other La Mesa anywhere else. They should be able to do it. The Tucson location is one of only three places in the US I'll let work on my RV. I bought an 08 Bus from them new and have bought parts, had major counter top change outs and a number of other work done. I've been allowed to watch the work, ask questions and fully discuss the repair before it was done. I wouldn't trust the La Mesa in Mesa as far as I could through them. They flat out lied to me on one repair and then I had to re-do the wiring on a jack repair they were supposed to do under warranty. The La Mesa in Yuma just didn't strike me as being interested in doing any work, let along doing any job well.

I do all standard maintenance on my coaches and use dealers only for big complex jobs I cannot do when 2500 miles from home.
