Basement Tank Vents

Not a Tiffin owner (Monaco) but my travel bubby is and we recently picked up his new to him 2014 Allegro Bus, quad slide, and have a question for those who know things.

Is there heat ducts for tank areas in basement? Can Agua Hot be used to heat bays during the extreme cold we've had?

Thanks

All the Tiffin's with hot air heat use a tap off the rear heater to deliver hot air to the wet bay/tank area. From there residual goes to all compartments forward of the rear axle. For Aqua Hot they also deliver heat to the wet bay, but I do not know exactly how. Tiffins 40' or less with LP heat have gas fired hot air and over 40' are all electric coaches with Aqua Hot. Our 43' is the ONLY Bus or Zephyr that Bob built longer than 43' with LP heat.

AquaHot heats the Wet bay. In the bay will be a separate thermostat for the wet bay. The AquaHot has to be on but the furnace setting in the living quarters does not to just heat the wet bay. Some folks just use the electric side of the AquaHot to heat the bay but it might not be able to keep up on really frigid temps.

According to Tiffin the rear furnace provides the heat for the basement with aqua hot - at least that is the way it is on my zephyr.

That’s odd, what year is your Zepher? You have both propane and AquaHot?
