Battery disconnects

I have a 2016 Open Road 36LA and cannot locate the battery disconnect for the house batteries. I know about the salesman switch by the door, but I am looking for a disconnect switch. Have not found one yet. Batteries are under the steps. TIA for any thoughts on this.

I had a 2015 Open Road and it did not have a battery disconnect switch for the house batteries, so I installed one.

Robert 41--Where did you actually install the switch, and did you install in the negative side or positive. I have not found a convenient location to install.

If the batteries are under the steps, why not on the side panel of one of the steps.
It will keep the 00 cable short.
Can't be handier than that IMO.

I would switch the + wire.

I installed the switch in the compartment just to the right of the steps. Add some extra insulation to the wires so there is no possibility of a short. I installed the switch in the positive wire, but installing it in the negative wire would be a good idea, that way if there was a short to ground, there would be less of a fire hazard.
