Thumbs up Black Tank Flush System

We have a 2008 Tiffin Phaeton we have lived in full time for 3+ years and have never had a problem with flushing the black tank. We just arrived at our winter destination and when my husband went to drain and flush the black tank he was not able to get water to go into it to flush it out. We also noticed that every time we used the shower the fresh water tank hose would drain a bit. He let some of the water out of the fresh water tank so that has stopped but we wonder if we may have an air lock or whatever that keeps water from going into the black tank to flush. Maybe someone knows what the problem is and how to correct it.

Check your black tank vent. Something could of put a nest there.

There's a check valve on the black tank flush inlet and my money says that's gone bad.

I had the same problem on my 2012 Tiffin, The hoses on the check valve under the vanity had to be reversed.
