Black tank Sprayer

There was a great post several years ago that explained how the black tank sprayer worked. My sprayer has stopped working on my '19 Allegro Red.

I removed the lakeview vacuum break (under the sink and I note the inlet hose has no markings and the outlet hose has a black stripe which confirms to me that I am working with the right connections). Hooked the Lakeview up to a garden hose to verify that I understood how it works. The floating check is free moving and water moving through pushes the spring loaded check valve and lets water pass.

I connected the 2 hoses together with a nipple (w/o vacuum breaker) and I still get no spray. I guess either the hose to the spray head is pinched or the spray head is clogged or defective.

Does anyone know where the spray head is located? I hope it is not behind the fixed panel on the passenger side of the tanks. Any ideas on clearing the spray head if it is clogged?

The spray head will normally be in the bay on the passenger side where the gravity water fill is located. The panel can be taken off by removing four screws on each side. The side where the compartment door is located is easy. The other side requires a thin Phillips screwdriver and put masking tape over the edges of the compartment to prevent scratching the paint. The door is not heavy, just bulky so best done with two people. Inside you will see where the hose goes into the tank. Remove the sprayer from the tank and drill the holes out slightly larger. Stopping up is the result of "crud" drying inside the spray holes so it's best to use the sprayer almost every time you dump even if just for a few seconds. The spray head will look similar to below.

Spray head is probably blocked. Drilling out the holes will help.
