Blue Ray Player not working but DVD does

I have a 2011 Allegro Red 38QBA. I hooked up a blue ray player using the HDMI in the entertainment center above the passenger seat and it won't work. It goes to the front TV and the dining TV through a splitter int he basement. I tried several different ones and no luck. Then, I hooked up a DVD player and it worked no problem. It is almost like the Blue ray signal through the HDMI is not strong enough to work. Anyone else see this or have suggestions?

It's not the signal strength but the digital encoding which means it could be the cable you are using for HDMI, the splitter, the TV set, the software version in the BluRay itself, and so on. Did you try directly connecting the player to the TV set? How about connecting the BluRay directly to one of your house TVs, did that work?

I'm not sure if it passive or not. It was the one that came with the motorhome. It's located in the base and is powered.

I did plug it into the TV directly and it works just fine, but when i use the pre-wired HDMI it doesn't work and the TV says it gets no signal. I tried different Blue Ray players and nothing works, but the older DVD player does work. Driving me nuts.

The HDMI splitter is located on the passenger side basement ceiling. I would reset that first (it's powered) and if you still have problems, replace it.
