I suspect yours is wired similar to our 2012 Phaeton. There is not any HDMI cable to plug into your satellite receiver. What you will find are three component connections (red, blue, green).

You will need the cable adapter to go from your component cable to the Portta PETHRSP HDMI device. Connect the HDMI output of your satellite receiver to the Portta.
I actually found that the on screen video of my TV improved compared to using the component connections on my old VIP622 satellite receiver.
I recently upgraded to the Dish Hopper with one Joey. Since the Joey only has an HDMI output I had to use the above setup to get it to work.
