Question Bubble level and stairs extend

2008 Open Road Allegro was recently purchased. Noticed for the leveling system in the owner's manual states to check the bubble level. I cannot seem to find a bubble level anywhere. I use my own level for verification just curious if it is hidden somewhere or what it seems there should be one for the unit. Also, the steps seem to stick out about 2 inches or so from the line of the side of the coach. Is this adjustable, normal or a problem? They seem to work fine going in and out etc..

I would imagine the " bubble level " wording would mean to check with your own level.

Steps sticking out could mean trouble with the mechanism ; this could just mean they need a good lube job on all the joints ; as the drive controller is load sensitive and will power down at any binding , thinking the mechanism is at the end of it's travel.
