I asked this question on the other Tiffin Forum but didn't get many responses. I am looking to purchase a new 2014 Bus 37AP and am wondering why the step well cover closes and opens so slow. Is it an air actuated cover or is it electric and can it be adjusted to move faster?

Electric and slow for a purpose. Safety ! several manufacturers had air unites years ago and they opened and closed at lightening speed. ANYTHING in the way was hammered including legs, animals etc.
