Busbar Recall - New Instructions

Just noticed there are new instructions for the busbar recall repair on units with the 2000W inverter. In this new document, steps 6, 7, and 8 have been added - showing areas to inspect for signs of heat damage during this important repair. In my opinion this is an important revision to this document.

This is an important update. On ours my electrician and I found the insulating bushing that fits over the stud was melted. This could possibly take the 400amp Zcase fuse out of the circuit and cause fires.
I called Tiffin two weeks ago and made them aware of this. They sent out a complete DC panel which has been installed.
In my opinion any that have been repaired under the previous instructions should be pulled apart and inspected for this as well.

Were there any revisions to the instructions for the 1.200 watt inverter. Originally the fix was to tighten three nuts and put a new sticker on.
Thanks,

Thanks,
This is the latest instructions for the recall repair on units with the 1200w inverter. Seems it’s still just a retorque of the nuts and add the new sticker. As I have followed several forums on this topic, I did see one guy post that his inverter on/off switch with a 1200w inverter did have some heat damage and had to be replaced.

Thanks Dave55. I have tightened the three nuts myself, but will also take it to a dealer whenever I can get it in.
