This light bulb goes under the sink in the kitchen. Comes on when door opens. Appears burnt out. Have never seen anything like it. Any ideas as to where I can get a replacement?

You should be able to find one at any good auto parts store or batteries plus. They used to use those in car overhead lights. Pretty common.
There should be a number on one of the barrel ends.
Search for festoon bulb.

Get the LED version. Lasts longer and runs a lot cooler - and used less power, not that they use much anyway. If you can't find one, go to M4products.com. They have led replacements for everything under the sun.
