Can’t Make Up My Mind

Trying to decide between Allegro 34PA and Newmar 3408, both very nice coaches.
It appears Tiffin puts/ offers more in their gas coaches. We love the floor plan of 34PA, but could be very comfortable in the 3408.
Both are very close to each other in terms of price. We live in northern Michigan, 15 hours from Red Bay, only 6hrs to Napanee.
For some reason 35 ft appeals to me more than 36ft.
I’m very torn. Any input or recommendations would be appreciated.
Thank you

Earlier this year we were spec'ing a new coach and had it narrowed to Newmar and Tiffin.
I liked the floorplan of the Tiffin better, but I liked the slide floors in the Dutch Star better. I liked the cargo space of the Tiffin better. decisions, decisions......

One factor was proximity to the factory and warranty service. We live in Texas, and we go within 80 miles of the Tiffin factory every year. Newmar is a 2 day drive and we do not anticipate being within 500 miles of them in our travels.

You may decide differently....

We like the Bay Star 3408 floorplan but the cabinetry is vinyl wrapped except the doors. We have settled on the Tiffin 34pa without washer dryer. The WD area comes with 5 adustable shelves to use as small appliance storage, etc. The 34PA is on a 26k chassis and all examples we’ve seen are 3500lbs with the WD. Without should add another 200lbs.

Try driving both. Maybe you will like one better than the other if all else is equal.

Even though both have a published tow capacity of 5,000 lbs, I suggest figuring out which one has the largest margin in terms of it's ability to use the full 5,000 lbs. I to a quick look at the published specs but can't find all the ratings I need to determine this. Both have hitches rated at 5,000 lbs but this is only part of the story.

Here's a link that lays it all out. Hopefully you can find the missing pieces and do your own calculations:
