Cargo bay floor sagging

Hi,
Have a 2011 Open Road. In a couple of the cargo bays the floor looks like it is sagging and rounded downward. The undercoat is falling off in the areas this is happening.
Has anybody had experience with this?

Thanks,
Steve

I just came from the factory in Red Bay. They were replacing all sagging floors for no charge. You might want to call the factory and make sure yours is in the group they are replacing.

That's good that they appear to be owning up to a problem, but do you have any idea what is causing it in the first place? Replacing the floor without fixing the root cause is kind of counterproductive.

Some later models were built with plywood?, they are replacing them at no charge with some sort of plastic that is on all the newer rigs.I have no idea of the cause other than the material is different.

My cargo bays have a plastic floor. Will give them a call to check it out. It would be nice to have them fixed before they get too out of shape, but Red Bay is a bit of a drive from San Jose California.

Are your plastic/fiberglass bay floors corrugated? My formed bays have ribs built into them to add strength but they really make it difficult to keep things in place, even after adding scrap carpet. I have a few heavy things like air compressor and tool box but no sign of sagging yet.

My cargo bay floors are the fiberglass with rib type. The ribs are a nuisance but have worked around it.
A great part of my storage things are in boxes or plastic bins.
