Central Vac System

We just bought a 2008 Tiffin Allegro Bus and it has a central vac system " Vac Master by Hideaway Products" and we are trying to find vacuum cleaner bags for it and we are not having any luck. Does anyone know were we can go to find replacement bags. Thanks in advance!

It might be an orphaned product. Trademarkia says the trademark is "dead"; i.e., the owner let it lapse. Also, I can't find Hideaway Products in a Google search.

I'd call Tiffin Parts to see if they have replacement bags.

If the company is defunct, the product is orphaned, and Tiffin has no source for the bags, you might consider the Dirt Devil central vacuum. We have one in our '06 Bus, it works well, and bags are widely available. Installation won't be hard, and it will probably cost less than your next fuel stop.

Amazon is your friend (not really but they have everything). I found a bunch listed. They may have what you are looking for.

First off, Welcome to IRV2!

Look at the existing bag and see if there is a brand or model name on it then as suggested do a search on Amazon.

Our coach has the Dirt Devil central vacuum. I found it a PIA to use with the 6 inch too short hose and attachments. After using it to clean the carpet, I vacuumed the same carpet with our Dyson V11 Cordless Vacuum. What a difference! I unloaded the bulky hose and attachments and never used the Dirt Devil again.

I'd take your old bag into WalMart, Ace Hardware, etc and look for one that you think will work. There are only so many ways you can design a vacuum bag. I've retro fitted filters into quite a few older shop vacs - either because the old one was no longer available or it was too expensive.

If you don't have the old bag, measure & photograph the vac (where the bag is attached & the canister/ bag area). Then match up in the store.

After lots of research, we found bags that would fit and bought them online at Walmart.
