When I was attempting to check the oil I found that trying to pull the dip stick was much harder then what I was accustomed to. It required quite a lot of force to get it to start coming out. when it did come out a few inches I noticed that it looked like a cable and not a dip stick that you would see in a car. I stopped pulling it out because I thought that maybe I was doing something wrong. Can anybody tell me if this cable looking dip stick is the normal dip stick for this?
Is it a diesel? Because diesels generally have very long dip sticks and often coiled cables because of that.
I wouldn't worry about it.
