Child Safety Seat

We have a 2018 Tiffin 34PA Open Road with sofa and dinette configuration.

Has anyone set up a tether anchor for a forward facing child safety seat? We are looking at talking our granddaughter on a 1000 mile + trip this summer and want to make sure we can safely anchor the car seat.

Does anyone know if Tiffin will install something for us? Red Bay is out of the way for us, but we'd make the trip for it.

Driving the tow car separately with car seat is not an option for us.

First, it is great that you are taking your granddaughter on a trip with you.

Second, the attachment points of all seatbelts in the living area of any coach are marginal. I can't see Tiffin adding a tether anchor and accepting that liability.

There are car seats that are designed to be used without a tether - my daughter uses them in the Camaro convertible they own.

The lap belts are only bolted to brackets on the floor or the seating frame, installing tethers would only be a matter bolting them down to the same place.
