Cleaning air conditioner filters in Bus

I posed this question to Tiffin this morning and they were unable to answer. I have a 2019 Allegro Bus 37AP and am getting ready for the spring season. I am interested in cleaning the AC foam filters inside the inlets on my Bus. There are a row of 4 ducts in my Bus-- a row of outlets just to the passenger side of center where the conditioned air comes in and a row of return inlets to the immediate driver side of center. These returns have a central nut on the face plate of the inlet. Those are easily removed and the underlying foam filters removed and cleaned. My question concerns a set of ? Inlets which run laterally near the sides of the ceiling on both sides. These ducts appear to have foam behind them. But these faceplates have 4 wood screws holding each one and there isn't room to get my short Phillips head screwdriver onto the inboard screws because of the adjacent slide molding. Are these vents returns and do you think Tiffin really intended for these filters to be cleaned? i should mention one feels air move across the more central return ducts but I don"t appreciate any air movement across these lateral vents. Thanks in advance on any help.

I believe the "vents" with multiple screws are speaker grills. We have cleaned our Bus filters and only removed the center nut to gain access.

Replacement filters

We have a 2019 40ip. Thanks for the clarification on the little grills. The question I have is, where can I buy replacement ac filters?

Thanks

I've always been told the filters should be in the return air vents, the DS. Not the PS vents.

You can easily wash them in dish soap.

I did make one set from filter material I got at HD. This way I can swap them out then wash the other set.

Nearly any Camping World or Lazy Days should have them. They will probably be cut-to-fit (easy enough). Someone said HD has the material as well. Go with whatever's cheapest.

But they last for *years*. Soap and water and compressed air, and Bob's yer uncle.

Quick and easy filter clean for 45OPP

Sometimes we get in a hurry to clean filters before or after a trip in the RV. We use the in house vacuum cleaner hose to clean the return circular filters without having to remove them from the ceiling. Does a decent job until we have time to remove , wash and re-install. Stay safe.

I also vacuum them between a good soap cleaning.

I have those filters down the entire drivers side, I think 4 in the living room, 1 in the bathroom, 1 in the shower, 2 in the bedroom and 1 in the rear closet. I pop them all down at the same time and wash them and dry them and reinstall. Might take 10 minutes. Was told not to replace with anything too restrictive, so just use what was there from the factory.
