Closet light switch

My 2014 Allegro bus closet light switch works intermittently. Sometimes it works right away, like when new. Other times it has to be pressed numerous times until the lights come on. Replaced with new switch from Tiffin, no change.
Thought I saw a post a while back, but canít seem to find it. Thanks

It sounds like a bad connection somewhere, just not the switch.

Good place to start is the fuse.

I agree with checking the fuse, also I would check the wiring connection to the new switch.

Also check the connections at the lights. I found a bad connection once in our previous coach. The bedroom lights would randomly not work with the switch. I found a loose connection at one of the lights. They were daisy chained, thr loose connection was at the first light in the chain. The connections were with a wire nut.

The closet switches on my wardrobe in my 2010 bus are a real mickey mouse setup. I had replaced them both because the arms broke off then taped them in the off position. I can see fine into the closet.
